Food Security
Our Food Security Program focuses on increasing our capacity to grow food locally, sustainably, and educationally. Sponsorships in this area help us expand production while also creating hands-on learning opportunities for families, students, and community partners.
Support in this program contributes to:
- Expanding our u-pick crops to increase access to fresh, local produce
- Growing our chicken and egg production for reliable protein sources
- Improving and expanding our irrigation systems to ensure long-term resilience
- Establishing honey bee hives to support pollination and local ecosystems
- Planting fruit trees and perennial food crops that provide harvests for decades
Together, these efforts reduce reliance on long-distance food systems, strengthen local self-sufficiency, and equip our community with the knowledge to grow and care for food themselves.
