Our Cultivation Strategy

At Family Roots Nursery and Garden Center, we are nurturing more than plants. We’re building a living system of learning, connection, and resilience—rooted here and growing outward.

Our strategy extends beyond cultivation in the garden—it includes cultivating relationships, resources, and local opportunity. In addition to our investor opportunities, we invite individuals, families, and local businesses to participate through sponsorships: purpose-driven contributions that do not provide a financial return but instead generate lasting impact across our community.

Through this approach, our goal for 2026 is to establish Family Roots as a true community hub—expanding awareness of the services and resources we offer, sharing our expertise with new audiences, and strengthening support for fellow local businesses.

Our 2026 initiatives are organized into four core areas of impact: Food Security, Community Center, Community Outreach, and Ecological Health. Each section below provides additional detail on these focus areas.

Let’s Grow Something Beautiful—Together

COMMUNITY CENTER
We will make our 26-acre property more accessible to our community through infrastructure improvements that support healthy living and shared experiences for our visitors through new indoor and outdoor activity spaces.Read more about the Community Center program.
We will work with existing programs to enhance outcomes for our community by sharing our knowledge, site facilities, and resources. We are passionate about improving resilience in Lee County.Visit Community Outreach for more program information.
We will thoughtfully steward God’s gifts of natural abundance by improving biodiversity, protecting native plants, and restoring the health of our local ecosystem for the benefit of all in our community.Learn more about our Ecological Health program.
We will expand our operations to support local food production and enable us to share more food with our neighbors.
